The Little Jewels are small 12”X12” acrylic and mixed media paintings. Here, the inspiration comes from hiking and walking the Fox River and its lush forest surroundings in NE Wisconsin. The materials and techniques are often experimental, eccentric, and are typically prototypes for the larger paintings in the “rivering” and “breathe” series.
